Ruth Langsford’s estranged husband Eamonn Holmes is reportedly furious over her decision to speak out about their split.
The former This morning host claims Ruth “painted him as the bad guy” in her recently released memoir, Feeling Fabulous.
“He is furious with Ruth. He thinks she is really playing with fire,” an insider said Heat world.
“However, there is still a lot that has not been aired, shared or said. He believes Ruth should take this into account. Eamonn will have his say if Ruth does not stop,” the confidant added.
For those unfamiliar, Ruth and Eamonn ended their 14-year marriage in May 2024. Both have avoided discussing the details of their split publicly, but Ruth’s book and the recent round of interviews to promote it have shed light on the heartbreak she faced.
“The biggest emotion that threatened to consume me in the early days was sadness. When you have been with someone for a long time – 26 years in our case – and you have imagined what your future would look like, there is a sense of deep loss,” she wrote in her book.
“I expected Eamonn and I to be together forever and knowing that wouldn’t happen was incredibly difficult to come to terms with. Suddenly life was different, with no idea what the coming months and years would be like,” Ruth added.
