Christa Miller teases ‘Scrubs’ finale, weighs in on streaming vs network TV

Christa Miller on the ‘Scrubs’ finale: ‘It was fun’

Christa Miller played Jordan Sullivan Scrubs. Now the revival is in the works on ABC; she teases an exciting update.

“I just finished the final. “Oh my God! It was the most fun,” the actress said, referring to the sitcom’s season 10 finale The Daily Show.

After hyping up the show, Miller turns her attention to streaming and network TV production as she starred in both projects on their respective mediums.

“You have to remember that with Shrinking you have no commercials and we can go on for more than half an hour,” the actress noted, referring to her neighbor Liz.

“You’re going in [on Scrubs]and it lasts 21 minutes, that show. It’s on the network [TV]so to change the pace and play with everyone, and I know that character so well too… we had a blast.”

Similar to Miller, Lydic – who is the host of The Daily Show and during her show the actress promoted her projects – is also enthusiastic about Scrubs.

“I can’t wait to watch. I’m so excited. I have to tell you, I have a personal connection with Scrubs.”

The host, who had a brief role in the sitcom, shares details about it, saying, “I got my SAG card by doing extra work, and one of the shows I did extra work on was Scrubs.”

Lydic shared that her character name was “Nurse Buttaface” and said, “At one point I played an extra named ‘Nurse Buttaface.'” I don’t want to brag. I was Nurse Buttaface. They did it very stylishly and didn’t show my face.”

In the meantime, Scrubs ran for nine seasons, a total of 182 episodes, and Miller appeared in almost half of them.
