Katy Perry has revealed she quit nicotine a few months ago.
The pop star, who has spoken out about her smoking habits, took to her official Instagram account on Friday to share an update on her substance use.
In her Stories on March 6, the I Kissed a Girl singer posted a photo of a pack of peppermint energy and focus gum.
She wrote over the photos: “Quit all nicotine two months ago.”
Katy further noted that she “strongly” recommends the “more organic” energy alternative, referring to the chewing gum she posted.
However, Katy did not reveal which nicotine products she previously used; she has been open about her past smoking habits.
While pregnant with daughter Daisy, who is now five years old, Katy had to adjust her routine.
She said to Fifi, Fev and Bryon show in 2020: “When you stop drinking and smoking and start creating a baby, it’s like your whole body says, ‘Well, thanks for treating me nice for a day.'”
The You and me hitmaker also struck a sobriety pact with ex Orlando Bloom before they split.
“For me, it was a chance to reset. We reset after President’s Day, and it was a great opportunity to let my body bounce back a little bit,” Katy shared. People in 2023.
