Ariana Grande has unveiled a new series of designs on her hands ahead of her 60 tattoos, featuring complex floral motifs and intricate line work.
The Grammy winner shared photos on Instagram, sporting tattoos on her fingers and palms that seemed to create a botanical theme.
In one of the photos, the Everyday hitmaker posed as she covered her face to show off her latest artwork.
Ariana, meanwhile, shed light on a stressful phase of her life in a recent interview.
The year was 2017. A bomb attack during her concert in Manchester killed 22 people. Subsequently, Mac Miller, her ex-boyfriend, died of an accidental drug overdose within a month of the incident.
A year later, the musician released her album Sweetener.
While making music, Grande admitted at the time that she struggled with mental health issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, depression and anxiety.
“I was doing so much therapy and dealing with PTSD and all different kinds of grief and depression and anxiety. And of course I was treating it very seriously, but music as part of that remedy absolutely helped save my life,” she said on the Chatter podcast.
“These were dark times, and the music brought so much levity, and so did the experience. But it poured out with urgency, and it was made with urgency, and it was a way to survive,” Grande concluded.
