Patrick Muldoon, best known for playing Austin Reed Days of our livesdied at the age of 57.
According to Termthe actor breathed his last on Sunday, April 19, after suffering a heart attack.
Throughout his decades-long career in the entertainment industry, Patrick appeared in several films including Super Troopers, Saving Christmas, And Melrose place.
However, the actor rose to fame after starring in the soap opera, Days of our lives. Patrick played the role of Austin Reed on the TV show from 1992-95 and again from 2011-2012.
His latest film, dirty hands, will premiere later this year.
Patrick was also an executive producer for a number of feature films, including The Tribes of Palos Verdes, Marlowe, Arkansas, The Dreadful, And The card counter.
Those close to the Hollywood star describe him as “endlessly generous – with his poetry, his humor and his unmistakable presence.”
According to the actor’s close friend, Patrick “loved both animals and people, gave unforgettable hugs and had the rare quality of making others feel safe and seen.”
“Stylish, charismatic and full of life, he embraced every day with a full rock and roll spirit,” the star’s friend added.
