Gaten Matarazzo took a trip down memory lane and flocked there Stranger things makers.
In a new conversation with GQ magazinethe acting sensation reflected on working with the Duffer brothers, Matt and Ross, highlighting the care and caution they showed while working with a younger cast.
He started off by saying, “It felt like they were okay with intentionally making a meta moment there.”
Matarazzo also said, “A lot of the conversation around the show is about our acting throughout our childhood.”
“And the stigma that comes with the child actor experience and what often happens in an industry like this when kids get involved, which can’t be the healthiest.”
Appreciating the creators’ approach, he noted, “And Matt and Ross were always so careful, loving and caring with us, making sure we did this in a very healthy and safe professional environment,” before signing off from the chat.
Notably, Gaten Matarazzo will star in an untitled Hulu college comedy, where he also served as executive producer.
