Taylor Frankie Paul has officially purchased her own home, weeks after her alleged domestic violence case involving her ex Dakota Mortensen was dismissed.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Women star took to her Instagram on Monday and shared the happy news along with a montage video.
“Officially a solo homeowner and thank you to the best real estate agent in Utah [Liann May, her mother],” she wrote on May 18.
Taylor shared her raw emotions about becoming a homeowner, noting, “I can see the sadness through the excitement, but I’m trying.”
In the video, Taylor can be seen signing some legal papers and finalizing the deal, while she also excitedly posed and danced as confetti fell all around her in the entryway of her new home, carrying a large key-shaped cutout.
“Closed and got the keys to my first house myself,” the text on the video read.
This came a few days after she shared an update on the purchase of the house she previously rented.
‘I just bought my first house, [I had] has been renting for years,” she shared on Wednesday, May 6, via her Instagram Stories.
Buying her own home seems like a relief for Taylor after a tumultuous few months in which she faced personal and professional issues.
Back in March, ABC withdrew plans to stream The bachelorette, which she was to host, in the midst of her investigation into alleged domestic violence incidents. The Secret Lives of Mormon Women Season 5 filming was also paused due to the investigation.
However, the case was closed by local police after they declined to press charges against Taylor in April.
