Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez both attended the 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony on Sunday, but did not pose together on the red carpet, despite there being “no drama” between the two.
An insider came by on Monday Daily mail that Ben Affleck’s ex-wives weren’t photographed together at the Golden Globes because they “don’t want to create a fuss.”
Garner and Lopez are “friends with each other,” a source told the outlet. “They get along great, they are cool with each other, there are no problems.”
“They don’t want to make headlines by posing together at an awards ceremony; that would be awkward. They don’t want to create a fuss because it would be difficult for the kids,” the confidant added.
For those unfamiliar, Garner shares 17-year-old twins Max and Emme with Marc Anthony, while Lopez is co-parents to kids Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13, with Ben.
According to the source, the actresses see each other ‘often’ because Emme and Seraphina have a particularly good bond.
“I’m pretty sure they see each other once a week because of the kids, and they talk on the phone, they’re co-parenting in a way, even though Lopez is divorced from Ben,” the insider said.
The source claimed: “They are like one big modern family, which is nice. They have all had good therapy and understand how important it is to get along for the sake of the children.”
“Plus, Garner is very cool about everything; she’s a drama-free lady, so there was no way anything weird would ever happen. She’s the nicest person in Hollywood,” a tipster added.
